LogoCycler Screen Shots

This page displays screen shots of "LogoCycler" - an application that allows Windows 95/98/Me users to automatically change their startup, shutdown, and signoff logos as well as their desktop wallpaper periodically.  This page contains fairly large images and may require some time to load.  Thank you for your patience.
SSThingy screen shots are also interesting.

The LogoCycler UI is composed primarily of a property sheet and six property pages.   The Signon, Shutdown, Signoff, and Wallpaper property pages are all nearly identical.   Because of this I was able to take great advantage of code reuse in the underlying software design.  This application doesn't seem impressive on the surface, which is the goal of the UI design, i.e. it's supposed to be intuitive and easy to use.  The value of LogoCycler is in it's ability to automatically scale and color correct the images in the image list in order to make them work with Windows.  This application was originally developed in 1996 when the Windows shell wasn't able to accept and properly display any kind of image.
